Helping Military Families During Medical Crises
Because A Family's Love Is Good Medicine
Friends of Fisher House – Illinois helps support the needs of veterans and families staying at the two Illinois Fisher Houses, including food, supplies, lodging when the houses reach capacity, maintenance, and other needs. The organization has helped more than 50,000 individuals and reports saving families approximately $1.7 million in out-of-pocket expenses.
Proceeds from Rockin for Heroes will help support those ongoing needs as well as holiday care for families staying at Fisher House.
“It is an honor to support the men and women who have sacrificed so much in service to our country. Fisher House has been serving families in Illinois for more than a decade, yet many people still don't know about the extraordinary support it provides to veterans and their loved ones. We hope Rockin for Heroes not only brings our community together for a wonderful afternoon but also introduces more people to the Fisher House mission and the families we are privileged to serve."

We are grateful to the Ron Hill Memorial VFW Post 2245 for their generous $500 donation to support the Friends of Fisher House.
During their visit, members received a tour of the Fisher House and had the opportunity to see firsthand the impact their support has on military families.

Iron Workers Local 1 proudly presented Michael Thompson, a valued member of our Board of Directors, with a $5,000 donation benefiting Friends of Fisher House Illinois.
