Hines VA Fisher House, Supporters, Military Families Celebrate 1st Anniversary of Operations March 2011

In its first year since its Grand Opening in March of 2010, Hines Fisher House has served some 750 military families from scores of states throughout the U.S. who faced military crises. The 20-bedroom suite "home away from home" has provided free accommodations for family members supporting their veterans through all manner of illnesses and medical treatments.

The 1st Anniversary Open House proved to be an occasion to reflect and express gratitude for the presence of this Fisher House and its humanitarian support on Hines VA Hospital grounds.
