Kudos to New Partner Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association 24-1 Heart of Illinois Chapter
This organization’s year-round 2011 fund-raising efforts garnered an amazing $6,270 to assist with support of Hines VA Fisher House.
Veterans’ groups like this one are at the forefront in supporting Friends of Fisher House-Illinois’ mission to assist military families during medical crises. This is because, veterans, more than anyone else truly understand the sacrifices they and their families make.
Non-Profit Bethel Fellowship Church Donates $15,000 To Assist Military Families During Medical Crises
FOFH-IL is honored and delighted to introduce our new Partner supporting our mission
to assist Hines VA Fisher House.
“Students of our school have visited Hines VA Hospital on a number of occasions. We’ve instilled deep love of our country in all our students. As a result, they love and admire those who serve and have served and sacrificed for our country,” comments Ralph Scheri, President of the Board of Directors of Bethel Fellowship Church.
“We are humbled by and delighted with this major contribution to Friends of Fisher House-Illinois (FOFH-IL). Although, the Bethel Fellowship Church Northlake, IL, is dissolving, Ralph has asked to include him in our Board meetings so he and other congregation members can continue to support our mission,” states Betty Stamatis, FOFH-Il President.

Because of the continuing privacy issues involved with some 1,400 military family guests utilizing computers and internet service at Hines VA Fisher House, there is a continuing need for volunteer computer experts for maintenance.
We appreciate Dave's investment of personal hours and computer knowledge to bring the 20 computers (one in each private bedroom suite) up to snuff and operating efficiently.
