Military Families Express Heartfelt Appreciation

I’m overwhelmed by the impeccable service…this has been one of the most beautiful experiences under the circumstances for my Dad’s medical problems…grateful doesn’t cover how I feel and blessed.

 

This our first time at the Fisher House—how amazing it is! ...thank you for providing comfort when we’re feeling most uncertain of what our future holds…after long days at the hospital it’s so nice to find fellowship upon return “home.”

 

Back again..so nice to know the Fisher House and staff are here for us. Especially when there is so much unknown in the future of my husband’s health…you provide for us at a time when we are dealing with issues that sometimes overwhelm us.

 

The staff didn’t act like staff. They treated us like family. I thought it would be like living in barracks. Wow, was I wrong! I’m grateful to Fisher House..found a new charity that is near and dear to my heart.

 

This stay helped so much! God blessed me by allowing us to stay in the Fisher House which gives peace in this timed of need.

 

After being here 32 days, we are going home…Fisher House is a lifesaver..what a beautiful place! Thankful for everyone who touched our lives.

Two Brothers 2015 Summer Festival Lends a Hand to FOFH-IL to Tune of $5,000

"FOFH-Il is thrilled and honored to welcome our new partner, Two Brothers Brewing Company, and enjoyed their annual Summer Festival. The FOFH-IL Board is pleased to be a beneficiary of this marvelous three-day event raising $5,000 to support our mission providing humanitarian assistance to military families during medical crises. Also, we applaud Two Brothers Brewing Company’s continuing support of the truly worthwhile cause of Make-A-Wish Illinois,” says Betty Stamatis, FOFH-IL President.

Thousands enjoyed tons of incredible food, a few great bands and an endless supply of ridiculously awesome beer. All in the name of charity benefiting Friends of Fisher House-Illinois & Make-A -Wish Foundation.

They also rocked to a stunning lineup of bands: Dawes, Train Company, Jason Isbell, Cornmeal, Under the Willow and Brent Brown plus Family Friendly Reggae band Medtality Roots Featuring Zion.

About Family-Owned Two Brothers Brewing Company

Two Brothers Brewing Company was founded by Jim and Jason Ebel in late 1996. The business was envisioned by the brothers based on their entry into entrepreneurship with The Brewer’s Coop, a retail store catering to home beer and wine making. In 1992 The Brewer’s Coop opened its doors in Naperville, IL selling retail ingredients and equipment for the homebrewing community. The more they were surrounded by brewing, the more passionate they became about opening their own microbrewery. In early 1996 they decided to take the plunge and started writing a business plan. Several months later their dream became reality. Two Brothers Brewing Company is still 100% family owned.
